Established in 2021 by Zanzibar's First Lady, Her Excellency Madam Mariam H. Mwinyi, the Zanzibar Maisha Bora Foundation (ZMBF) is a registered non-governmental organization. Its primary purpose is to enhance the quality of life for Zanzibaris, specifically by focusing on the social and economic empowerment of women and youth, in line with national and international development frameworks.
